Inventor subscription customers now have access to new productivity tools in the drawing, part, and assembly environments of the software.

Featuring in this update are ‘Drawing Manager Productivity’ to give users quick and clean up dimensions and drawing annotations and the ability to refresh drawing parameters, balloon snap and alignment tools on placement enhancements to projecting geometry, as well as the ability to edit dimensions during placement.

‘Part Modeling Productivity’ should allow users to remain further in the sketching environment by being able to create parameters on the fly through the ‘Edit Dimension’ dialog box without ever having to access the parameter dialog box.

Finally, the ‘Assembly Design Productivity’ features an editor to allow for editing in a similar format to Microsoft Excel, enabling shortcuts like shift or control for selection.

Many of the latest productivity tools in the Inventor 2009 subscription bonus pack have arrived as a result of customer focus. Subscribers will be able to install these tools to their current software after downloading a small file from the subscription site.
